Credits and licensing

This is an independent, non-commercial browser port based on the DXX-Redux source port. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Parallax Software, Interplay Entertainment, or the current owners of the Descent trademarks.

The engine source includes code under the D1X-Rebirth license and the original Parallax license. That license restricts use to non-commercial, royalty-free purposes. This site has no ads, subscription, or paid access. Read the full upstream license text.

The browser build packages D1 shareware data and D2 demo data. It does not include commercial full-game data. The game and data names belong to their respective copyright and trademark owners.

WebAssembly socket bridge source and its Emscripten license are included in the project repository.
